Privacy

Vozla is built by one developer in Lisbon and respects your privacy. This page explains exactly what data the iOS app collects, why, and how it is stored. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, we do not show ads, and we do not sell any data.
What we collect
Email address (only when you sign in with a one-time code), an anonymous device identifier generated locally and stored in your iOS Keychain, and product interaction events such as which words you have learned, which quizzes you completed, and which Lisbon-wall tiles you have unlocked.
Why we collect it
Your email is used to deliver the six-digit one-time login code and to identify your account on the backend so that progress can sync. The anonymous device ID lets us deduplicate device-level events for first-party analytics. Product interaction events drive the Lisbon wall, daily reminders, and product analytics that help us decide what to build next.
What we do NOT collect
No advertising identifiers, no location data, no contacts, no health or financial data, no Brazilian Portuguese audio. There is no third-party advertising SDK and no third-party tracking pixel.
Where data is stored
Account data is stored on byAlif’s own backend servers in the European Union. The anonymous device ID is stored on your device and on the backend row linked to your account. You can delete your account and all linked data at any time from the in-app settings.
Children
Vozla is rated 4+ but is intended for adult and teenage language learners. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
